My problem(?)

I was going through my defs and surpluses..Most of the higher priced stuff are defs and my surpluses are lower priced items..like fruit and cereal. Should this matter? Does this look like I got a crappy roll?

I have the exact same problem on my planet, Nole. I'm stuck with huge deficits in cereals, meats, livestock...a lot of agri that takes almost as much to produce as it does to sell. When I got my second planet, I had a much better roll and could support firewalls, unis and nanfab. So yeah...I think you and I got a crappy roll!

Also, is it my imagination, but does an arts factory really screw things up? I've tried selling straight to the exchange and then tried putting them in a depot and selling them elsewhere, but I've always had to take them down.

would need a bit better clarification---by default most agri worlds make little, if any leisure, and leis tends to have the most expensive commods

I'm out cereals, too, so there must be something in the mix if there's several worlds w/o cereals.

I have a ton of fruit, woods, textiles, spices and to a lesser degree a lot of hides, mechs, lanzarik, semis, gold, clays and nickel that I try to haul out.

Break even or have too smal of a net production to bother trying to sell of the other agri, resource, ind, tech/bio.

I buy when I try to haul in: anti, controllers, nanos, nanfab, packs, lasers, droids; scalpels, labs, clinics, probes, proteins, sensors, tracers; and ALL leisure. (I make a smidgeon of some leis but not enough to satisify consumption).

I have gold and crystals..but I have those locked up as I have a factory that uses those..so I can't sell those.

Actually, I guess I should say I've only seen Smitty's roll, he emailed it to me and we compared notes. I'll have to get a copy of mine later so I can post mine here somewhere but we should prob make a new thread of posts that solely contain our rolls then we could see who all has what that we might want to buy and have a trade guild of sorts.

i think that is a great idea zr- especially considering some test-team people will be promoting this week, and then "normal" players next week. we can look at the differences between agri and resource
