I have been remiss in not adding a link from my site www.geocities.com/reemo00001 to this one which I will take care of as soon as possible.

The subject of Labor issues is one that I have overlooked in mentioning in my Chronicles and a subject that is well covered in this forum and I would like to provide information that would be helpful in trying to establish trade routes between player-planets in Fed. To this end I will try and compile a list on my site from this one, of Planets and thier needs plus their surpluses.

Perhaps seeing the lists side by side might encourage some of us PO's to trade more. Perhaps not but it might be worth a try.

Any suggestions are welcome even if you think I may be wasting my time so post a reply below. I am proud of my site and the progress I have made with it so far and hope to improve even more with a "Trading Page" so all comments will be appreciated.

The job might take more than a week but I am working on it. Was wondering if I should just list the PO's planets that are subscribed to this forum or go for broke and list all of them?

A mammoth job for sure but it might be quite the listing so what do ya think?

I think it would depend on how up to date you plan on keeping it. If you are going to continually add things as players promote to Founder.. and eventually from Founder, Id say go for all of them. If its not gonna be done that way, just go for the folks that are here.

Now that I have a good night's sleep to think about it the enormity of listing all the player planets and keeping the list up-to-date was simply overwhelming. From the number of members in this forum only a small number listed their planet's needs and not all listed both producers and deficits which has me thinking about interest in even having such a list.

My thanks to Southgnte for giving me something to ponder as I start something new to add on my site. Beginning with the info provided by this Labor Board seems the way for me to go and I will list Asylum, Acuminata, Boondock, Cube, Dilconia, Ganymede, Halloween, Lyon, Maroon, New Gough and Renglor. If I have missed someone please let me know by way of reply to this post.

Not all the planets listed above will have both S=Surplus and D=Deficits as some PO's only listed one side of the equation and I will apologize in advance if my info is not up-to-date. Every effort will be made to make changes quickly as I receive new info.

My "Trading Page" is under constuction at the present time and while looking a little rough around the edges it is colorful and all commodities will be listed even though an "S" or a "D" may not be assigned to every one of them for each planet. It is a start and after I open it up for viewing I intend on advertising it FedII.

It is not my intention to undermine this Labor Board as I only want to encourage trade between player-planets. Sol planets will not be listed and of course my page will only be a list not a place for discussion. I will continue to support active participation between PO's and strong Labor ties. If a PO comes to me direct with changes to my list I will suggest posting them here on the Labor Board and my page can be used for a quick comparison with others.

Keeping it up-to-date will be fairly easy but I will need feedback if any errors have been made.

In working on the list I have found myself trading more with player-planets myself. For example I have been going to Acuminata for Textiles and Alloys. Its a start and I hope that when I'm finished with the list and advertise it in Fed perhaps trading will pick up between us. I am about half way through with listing agri commods and it looks like a week is about right to finish the job.

New Siberia has added planet needs and excess to the Labor Board and in doing so will be added to the list that I am working on. The format will now consist of 2 pages with 6 planets listed on each page since having 12 on one page was a bit too much. New Siberia will now be found on page 2 and each page will be linked together for easy access.

It is my hope that the "Trading Pages" will become book marked as "favorites" and become used by PO's as a tool to aid in the trading of commdities with each other. At least this will be the advertising approach I will take when the pages have been completed.

Page 2 with Halloween, Lyon, Maroon, New Gough, New Siberia and Renglor is under construction and will be ready in a few days.

Trading Page 2 is now ready for use and I ask all PO's who have their planets listed to advise me of any errors that need correction. It was a big job and I found it easy to make a mistake.

To ensure accuracy I intend on checking each exchange to make sure that selling and buying is in accordance with what I have listed and attempt to find out where I may have gone wrong. Events have an effect on exchanges as well as any recent trading that may have taken place so I will need to keep that in mind. Buying and selling prices are also affected by the spread a PO has set for a certain commodity so just because one is listed as a surplus "S" it does not mean that it is worth buying; just that is available to be purchased.

Several errors were made to the info on Dilconia and thanks to Furgas I was able to make the necessary changes. I apologize for the errors and if any other PO's would like corrections made fast please let me know by e-mail to [e-mail] and I will make the changes right away.

It is still my intention to go around to the exchanges and check on the info I have and make any obvious corrections needed but I may not be able to spot them all.

At this point I am very pleased to the response my listing has received and with time we may see a marked increase in trade between us.

In going to the exchange on Acuminata I can see a lot of errors to my list which has me disappointed with the accuracy of my info. Monkey has not been around to talk to so I will make the changes that I know is needed from what I see in the exchange.

Eventually my Trading Pages will contain fairly accurate information that will be relied on with some confidence but for now I am not sure that they can be trusted completely so I submit that if a problem is found please report it to me and I will correct it right away.

To date I have visited and studied three exchanges, Acuminata, Asylum and Boondock and many many errors have been found which will be corrected as soon as possible. The one thing I have found myself doing more of is trading on player planets and I estimate that at least half of my trading is done that way now and I expect that evetually all my trading will be outside of Sol.
