If I set a deficit to MAX 200/MIN 126, can I still fill that commod to almost zero and expect to get the same profit as if it were set to MAX 800/MIN 100? I'm trying to avoid the overfilling of two specific commods that are being eaten up too slowly by the 'slow exchange days'.

Min mostly affects what the ex sells at, not what it buys up to (that would be max). After 0 the ex is only supposed to get 1/2 of the 75t bay, not sure which way it rounds, but would think down. Should be 3 bays (at 37 if above 0) to get to the 200 max... will need to think on it (or do some math)...Smitty or one of the others will prob have a better answer later---though I'd still say if you already produce it just to leave it at 100/200. The higher max is more if you're planning to export (sell) since the more you have the smaller the price fluctuation is when you or someone else buys a bay. If I set a deficit to MAX 200/MIN 126, can I still fill that commod to almost zero and expect to get the same profit as if it were set to MAX 800/MIN 100? Thank you very much, ZR!! I am only going to try it on one or two agri commods, as they are the only commods getting overfilled. I'll post back if it has a different effect.

As I recall, your max has to be 100 over your min.

that's definitely not true odd. it's absolutely possible to set your min to 126 and max to 200. doing this will prevent the commod from even displaying a price when in the exchange (if it is not a def and the current stock is actually at 126). Basically, if you have some commod with low production that you don't care about selling, or that you lose money on because it fills so slow that people sell it to you when you're trying to produce it, this method can stop the commod from being available for purchase (or sale). This is the only instance i have found that i actually use this method. Also, doing this does not affect the way the commod works as a def- it will still fill normally when you sell to the exchange, and the max the ex will take is simply 200.

I've found that there are periodically two or three 'haulers' that seem to be running the same macro and are selling the exact same commods, in the exact same quantity, in the exact same order to my exchange. I've said before I don't mind one bit having haulers sell to my exchange, and I have encouraged it. But I'm not a big fan of having that sentiment taken advantage of by overfilling my exchange! It hasn't been too bad recently, but the commods they are filling up are so slow to be eaten up (they are like a -2 production), that it ends up not being profitable at all. Changing those particular commods to the 200max/126 min helped a bunch in solving the problem.
