Attn Exchange Analyzer Users. I had previously deleted all Exchange information from the anlazyer but DJ brought it to my attention that some of you might like to use the info contained therein to get a feel for how many groats you had invested in yor SPs for re-imbursement from the GA. For this reason I have resotred ALL the old files (sorry Silverhawk) and will leave them up for a few days PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD NEW FILES DURING THIS time as I will be deleting everything again in a few days. Thanks Dupree

Hmmmm...should I promote my financier? Poor thing is constantly being hit with excess profits tax. What's the prize for being #100? How 'bout a t-shirt that says "I was the 100th planet on Dupree's Automated Exchange Analysis Tool and all I got was this stinkin' t-shirt!" Brooke

I am sad, on a Fed level, to report that I am being relocated to Madrid Spain by my employer for at least 1 year with the move coming at the end of May. In short this means that the Exchange analyzer will cease to be a "Living" as of May 15th...so get your last updates in early.
What do I mean by "living"? This could take a while.....the short of it is that the data will become static, no longer allowing you to upload new data.
Basically the "engine" (that which converts your text files into useful data) is a reporting tool dubbed "Qlikview" that I use as a part of my job and have used here to transform your text files into the Analyzer pages.
This tool "Qlikview" is a proprietary piece of software which costs somewhere north of $1,000 per copy (luckily for me my employer covers that for me) and is not going to be found on any webserver.
Currently the "Engine" and the site itself all reside on a little old desktop here in my CT home. With this move I will be putting said server into storage and moving the HTML pages of the "Analyzer site" over to my web host, unfortunately the "engine" can not be moved to the host.
So you will still have access to the data but it will be frozen in time. However, if you or anyone you know has access to Qlikview and are in any way technically inclined I will be happy to provide the scripts so that the site may live on.
Sorry, Dupree

Dupree, I hope on every other level (all those other than your aforementioned "Fed level"), this is a good move for you...or at least an exciting one! I really do hope this means you can still be around in Fed, even if your analyzer is frozen. I know a lot of people will miss your analyzer!

Heyas Dupree
I don't have your exact setup, but I can whip something up on my webhost to mimic your site (take in data in the text files and load to a backend database to produce calculated reports).

Your analyzer will be missed Dupree and I for one hope Desaxman can put something similar together. There are too many planets for me to start my old data pages up again.
I haven't been too active lately in Fed due to a personal problem but I have been keeping an eye on things. Hope you enjoy yourself in Spain. Keep in touch.

Okay, I've started work but I am waiting word from my webhost as they had told me that a certain directory was accessible for uploading files, but it is denying me access. Once they fix that, thanks to Dupree's willingness to share his files, I hope to have something similar ready for beta within a few days.
